Blooming Concepts, Inc.

Welcome to the home page of Blooming Concepts, Inc., a landscape consultation, design, and installation business that has been in operation since 2006 and is based in Fort Worth, Texas. Blooming Concepts concentrates most of its work in Tarrant County, although work has been done in Dallas, Denton, and Parker counties.

The owner and president of Blooming Concepts, Inc., is Steve Huddleston, who has a bachelor’s degree in horticulture from Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree from the University of Arizona. For over 22 years, Steve was the senior horticulturist at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and represented the Garden weekly on Neil Sperry’s lawn and garden program on radio stations KRLD and later WBAP.

Steve wrote for Neil Sperry’s GARDENS magazine in the past and currently writes gardening articles for Texas Living and Mansfield magazines. Steve is the co-author of Easy Gardens for North Central Texas, a book that covers the best trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and vines for a 52-county area in north central Texas. He has taught horticulture and landscape design classes through TCU’s extended education program for years. Steve’s passion is to create beauty using plants that do well in north central Texas. He has created and/or installed over 90 designs for residential customers over the years.
